An identity refresh for Truestone Impact Investment Management, who invest in socially conscious businesses in developing markets. The brief was clear: we couldn't change the logo and we couldn't use red, but everything else was up for grabs. Building from this starting point, we repurposed the chevrons used in the logo and gave them more purpose: they could be used to frame or to indicate, or their angles could give a forward-and-upwards shape to imagery. In addition, we introduced a fresh colour palette and a more sophisticated type treatment, which was collated into a set of brand guidelines.
